The Combined Fire Authority’s Revenue Budget for 2010/11 is £28,498,725 which relates to a £82.44 Council Tax charge on a Band D property in Bedfordshire and Luton.
The Combined Fire Authority has produced a Precept Leaflet for 2010/11 showing where the money comes from and where it will go.
The Combined Fire Authority has also agreed a Budget Book which gives details of the Budget, Precept and Council Tax for 2010/11, as well as the Authority’s Financial Reserves Policy, Medium Term Financial Plan 2010/11 to 2012/13, Capital Expenditure Strategy, Treasury Management Strategy 2010/11, Efficiency Plan 2008/09-2010/11, monitoring of the 2009/10 Prudential Indicators and a Statement on Minimum Revenue Provision 2009/10.
The Combined Fire Authority’s accounts are audited each year by the Audit Commission.
The Audit Commission also produces:
- an Annual Audit and Inspection Letter which provides an overall summary of the Audit Commission’s assessment of the Combined Fire Authority.
- an Annual Governance Audit Report.
