Community Risk Management Plan

Community Risk Management Plan 2016

The Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (BRFS) has produced a short eight-page summary of their Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) 2015 – 2019 that provides an overview of their plans for dealing with local risks like fires, floods and road traffic collisions. The plan also deals with how BFRS is working to create safer, healthier and more resilient communities, and deliver social and public value to local council tax payers.

The CRMP contains the Service’s key priorities, objectives and recent achievements so that local people are aware of its wider role in protecting and supporting all the county’s communities, delivering a diverse range of community safety initiatives alongside local, regional and national partners.

Finally it also highlights the Service’s excellent operational response in fighting fires, rescuing people from road traffic collisions and dealing with water related incidents, ensuring the people of Bedfordshire are as safe and well as possible.
