From 1 July 2012, in accordance with the Localism Act 2011, this Committee was discontinued and the standards function included in the Audit Committee, which was renamed the Audit and Standards Committee.

Introduction

The Fire Authority has agreed a Code of Conduct (.PDF), which sets out the standard of conduct required of its Members.

Any complaint that a Member has breached the Code of Conduct should be made to:
