The membership of the group draws on the senior management group of the organisation with the Deputy Chief Fire Officer as chair and the Human Resources Scrutiny Group Chair or Vice Chair attending. That is, those in authority to manage resources within the function and to make decisions regarding the development of equality and diversity within the function. The group will be supported by the Personnel Manager and Diversity Advisor.
The Personnel representative on the group will report back to the HR Scrutiny Group at the quarterly meeting were equality is an agenda item.
