Assessment and Scrutiny 


The Corporate Equality Group as part of its remit has developed a corporate self assessment process (Impact Needs Requirements Assessment INRA) which will form the foundation for future external assessment and validation.  

We currently have a number of organisational areas scrutinised by our Human Resources Scrutiny Group which consists of Members of the Combined Fire Authority and Senior Fire Service Personnel.   

Communities and Local Government are developing a Peer Challenge Model, initially for organisations at Level 3 of The Standard.  This will provide for an assessment of our self assessment process, which will meet the criteria for external assessment required by The Standard.
