This commitment covers all aspects of our work including; provision of services to the community, in recruitment and selection, in the policies and procedures for managing employees and in the hiring of contractors or service providers, and in the purchasing of goods and services we are committed to promoting equality and eliminating unlawful discrimination on the grounds of; gender, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, disability, religious beliefs, marital/parental status, sexual orientation or any other reason which can not be shown to be justified.

To monitor our progress and keep us on track we have adopted and developed a number of equality and diversity documents and action plans such as; the  National Equality and Diversity Strategy, the Corporate Equality Scheme, our Race, Gender and Disability Schemes, and are current members of Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme.
