Dave Fothergill, Deputy Area Risk Commander for Luton and South Bedfordshire, Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service (BLFRS), said: "We were delighted to be able to sponsor the Faith based football league and support the wider ambition of the project which is to encourage much greater participation in sport across the whole range of faiths that we enjoy in Luton."
Butch Fazel, Head Coach, said: "The Faith Based Football League is a fantastic example of good practice, working with black and ethnic minorities, raising awareness about the importance of fire safety messages and increasing understanding of road safety messages."
The gates will be open to all and entrance is FREE - come along and see local soccer ‘stars’ in action. Guest of honour will be international cricketer Monty Panesar who will present the Community Cup to the winning team.
