Our Service covers the area served by the two separate
local authorities of Bedfordshire County Council and Luton Borough
Council. A Combined Fire Authority (CFA) of elected Members from these
two constituent authorities oversees the Service. |
Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service
currently employs:

Dunstable, Toddington and Leighton Buzzard

Additionally, an Incident Unit (IRU)
based at Stopsley and 2 Prime Movers based at Bedford have been
provided by Central Government to deal with incidents where people
require Mass Decontamination. We also have various other
vehicles such as combo vans and Skoda Fabia Estate cars for day to
day duties.
Providing an emergency service 24
hours 365 days a year.
